Sometimes two things can grow side by side without becoming the same.
They can have their own space, their own shape, their own way of unfolding, and still somehow belong together.
That idea stayed with me as I made this piece.
Two separate sections. Two blooms. Each one given its own place, but connected by the same soft green glaze and the same quiet rhythm running through the entire piece.
It made me think about the people in our lives who grow beside us.
The ones who don't need us to change who we are to stay close.
The ones who give us room to become more ourselves while still choosing to walk alongside us.
That kind of connection is beautiful.
Not matching.
Not becoming identical.
Simply making room for one another.
