Among the Wildflowers

$78.00

It is easy to notice the biggest flower in the garden.

The one that opens a little wider.

The one that catches your eye from across the way.

The one that seems determined to be seen.

But look a little closer, and there is so much more happening around it.

Tiny flowers growing between the larger ones. Delicate stems wandering in every direction. Little bursts of blue appearing where you might not expect them.

An entire garden quietly unfolding.

That is what I love about this piece.

At first, your eye goes straight to those wonderful oversized flowers. But the longer you look, the more you begin to discover.

A tiny bloom you didn't notice before.

A curling stem.

A little blue detail tucked between the black lines.

Something different seems to appear every time.

And maybe that is a little like life.

There will always be big moments the ones we celebrate, photograph and remember.

But so much of what makes a life beautiful happens in between them.

Morning coffee.

A conversation that lasts longer than expected.

Dinner around the table.

Someone making you laugh when you needed it most.

Ordinary days that don't seem particularly important until one day you realize they were the good days.

Maybe we aren't supposed to spend all of our time waiting for the biggest flowers to bloom.

Maybe we are supposed to notice all the little ones growing around us, too.

Because sometimes the smallest things become the ones we remember most.
