A Little Sunshine for the Table

$78.00

Some of my favorite pieces are the ones I can picture being used long before I know where they will eventually end up.

I can see this one sitting in the middle of a table on a lazy Sunday afternoon, filled with cheeses, fruit, crackers and all those little bites that somehow turn into dinner.

Maybe there is a bottle of wine open nearby. Maybe friends stopped over and stayed longer than expected. Or maybe it is just a quiet evening at home when you decide that dinner does not need to be complicated to feel special.

The deep blue and warm golden flowers make me think of sunshine, old linens and tables that have been gathered around for years. There is something cheerful and familiar about it that I really love.

Because in the end, I don't make pottery just to sit on a shelf.

I make it for the food that gets shared, the conversations that linger, the unexpected guests, the ordinary Tuesday nights and all those little moments around a table that eventually become memories.

And I think this piece is ready for quite a few of them.
